Raffle Grand Prize
UK Hunt
Our Grand Prize package consists of a 5 day, 6 night, ALL EXPENSES PAID hunting and long-range shooting event for TWO (2) lucky people in the United Kingdom! This is a rare opportunity for a father and son, a husband and wife team, or maybe just two buddies that would love to do some hunting in an environment not usually accessible to the average American.
We will fly the winners from their nearest international airport, all expenses paid, to Edinburgh, Scotland. You just have to get yourself to the airport, and we’ve got it from there! Upon arrival in Edinburgh, you’ll be picked up and chauffeured about an hour south to the historic village of Alnwick in Northumberland, England. That will be our base of operations for the week. Your UK adventure will be divided into two phases – two days of long range shooting instruction followed by three days of hunting. None of this would be possible without the tremendous support of Accuracy International. They have generously provided appropriate world class rifles fully outfitted for your use. No need to carry any firearms across the Atlantic! The event itself has been generously donated by Andrew Petherick, proprietor of Hotspur Innovations, and a land owner who wishes to remain anonymous.
Shooting Package
On Day 1, you’ll head to the range to get fitted for your rifle, get it properly zeroed, and allow our instructors an opportunity to assess your shooting skills and impart some of their wisdom to you. Our instructors for this event are highly skilled UK Special Forces and U.S. Marine Scout Sniper instructors. You’ll benefit from hands-on training by some of the top military snipers in the world.
On Day 2, you’ll head back to the range for more individualized instruction from our experts. By the end of the day, you should be hitting targets at over a mile! After that, it will be time to visit a pub and plan the next day’s hunting!
Hunting Package
As special as the shooting package is, the hunt is even better! All hunting in England is on private land. Due to the generosity of a prominent landowner, you’ll have access to over 10,000 acres of beautiful northern England landscape to hunt. All hunting will be stalking with an individual guide. No sitting around in tree stands!
You’ll have access to three different deer species – Roebuck, Fallow Deer and Red Deer. There are no tag or license fees. There is no bag limit, and there is no additional fee if you take a trophy deer. While our hosts have some flexibility and can work with you on the schedule, we highly recommend planning the trip for August, 2026. That’s when the deer will be in rut, which makes it a highly desirable time for hunting.
Winner Eligibility Requirements
The winner and one additional person of his or her choosing will get the all-expenses-paid trip. Both must be legal residents of the United States and must be legally eligible to own or handle firearms in their home jurisdiction. At least one of the two must be above the age of 21. No one under the age of 16 will be allowed. Both individuals must have a passport with an expiration date no earlier than February 2027. If they do not possess a valid passport at the time of the raffle drawing, they must be able to procure one no later than 1 June 2026. If they cannot, we reserve the right to award the prize to a substitute winner.
Extras
We understand that most people who will buy our raffle tickets have families at home and work for a living. That’s why we decided to make this “all expenses paid”, so you don’t have to worry about the cost of plane tickets. In addition, we understand that it might not be ideal for you to leave another family member at home while you’re having fun for the week. If you want to add one or two additional friends or family to the trip, we can help you with arrangements for that. However, you will personally bear all additional costs associated with their travel. We also understand that this may be your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the UK. If you’d like to add a couple days on the front end or the back end for sightseeing, we can help you with those arrangements as well. Again, those additional costs will be covered by the winner, not us.
Northern England is a beautiful place, filled with history, quiet villages and farms and dramatic coastlines. There are at least six castles you can visit that are within a 45 minute radius of Alnwick. In fact, Alnwick has a castle of its own that is the seat of the Duke of Northumberland. You may also recognize it from the Harry Potter movies!
Within Northumberland is one of the largest remaining stretches of the original Hadrian’s Wall from Roman times. Almost within view of the hunting ground is Holy Island, which is where the Vikings first landed in 793AD and began their reign of terror against the Anglo-Saxons. We can understand if you’d like to add a few days to the trip to get out and visit some of these sights!

Mission Statement
The mission of the Marine Scout Sniper Heritage Foundation (MSSHF) is to remember the sacrifices and honor the rich legacy of Marine Scout Snipers built over 105 years of faithful service.
We achieve our mission through research to uncover the forgotten history of Marine Scout Snipers; by positively accounting for those who served as Scout Snipers and gave their lives for their country; and by engaging with and educating all Americans about the important contributions made by Marine Scout Snipers to our nation's defense.
Our most urgent goal is to erect a suitable memorial to honor the memory of U.S. Marine Scout Snipers killed in action since World War I. This Marine Scout Sniper War Memorial will be placed at the National Museum of the Marine Corps outside of Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia. Learn more about the Memorial here.
The Prize
The Grand Prize for our third annual Scout Sniper War Memorial Fundraiser is an amazing trip for two (2) to the United Kingdom (England) for a 5 day, 6 night, all expenses paid hunting and long-range shooting experience, sponsored by Accuracy International and Hotspur Innovations!
This prize is being raffled to raise funds for MSSHF's charitable programs and activities that serve to Remember the Sacrifice and Honor the Legacy of Marine Scout Snipers over 105 years of incredible history.
Retail Value of Prize
The UK Hunt and Long-Range Shooting Grand Prize package has a retail value of about $15,000.00. Winner may be subject to federal, state or local taxes on the value of the prize.
How to Buy Tickets
The only place to purchase tickets is online at the MSSHF’s website. You may find ticket options above. Tickets are set up to be easily purchased in groups of 1, 3, 8, or 15. You may purchase tickets in any combination of groups as you would like.
Ticket Sales will end at Midnight (ET) on March 16th, 2026.
The Drawing
The winning ticket will be drawn on March 17th, 2026. The specific time, location, and other details will announced in the near future. Individuals who purchase tickets NEED NOT BE PRESENT TO WIN. Winner will be notified via the phone and email provided at the time of ticket purchase.
Winner Eligibility and Associated Legal Notices
Winner must be a U.S. Citizen, at least 18 years old, and legally eligible to travel to the United Kingdom. Winner must show possession of a valid passport no later than 1 June 2026. This gives the winner two and a half months to procure a passport after the prize drawing.
The prize includes accommodation for two people. If either person is under the age of 18, the other must be at least 21 years old. Minimum age to participate is 16 years.
Members and employees of the USMC Scout Sniper Association and Marine Scout Sniper Heritage Foundation and their families ARE eligible to purchase tickets.
All taxes and fees associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Winners will be notified directly by the MSSHF. Winner’s first name and home state will be announced on our website and social media platforms. We request use of winner’s likeness with the prize once the prize is claimed.
Once the winner's identity, citizenship, and eligibility are confirmed, the MSSHF will put the winner in touch with the event host in order to coordinate travel dates and accommodations.
